Documents Required When Applying for Netherlands Visa from Oman

When submitting your Netherlands visa application, the following documents are required:

1. Visa Application Form

You must complete and sign the visa application form. Submit it during your appointment at the embassy. Ensure all information is accurate, as incorrect details can result in visa rejection.

2. Passport

Your passport must meet the following conditions:

• Valid for at least three months beyond your intended departure from the Schengen area
• Signed by you
• Contain at least two blank consecutive pages
• Issued within the last 10 years

3. Oman Residence Visa

Provide your Oman residence visa, which should be valid for at least three months after your planned departure from the Schengen zone.

4. Photographs

Submit two recent passport-sized photos that meet the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standards.

5. Cover Letter

A cover letter is required explaining your purpose of visit and a brief travel itinerary. Your visa consultant can assist you in drafting this letter.

6. Travel Insurance

You must submit proof of travel insurance covering medical expenses and repatriation up to €30,000, valid throughout the Schengen area.

7. Flight Itinerary

Include a copy of your round-trip flight booking, showing both entry and departure dates from the Schengen zone.

8. Proof of Accommodation

Submit hotel bookings or an invitation letter if staying with a friend or family member in the Netherlands.

9. Proof of Sufficient Financial Means

Provide your recent bank statements to prove you have enough funds to cover your expenses during your stay in the Netherlands.

10. Civil Status Documents

To verify your civil status, you may submit documents such as a marriage certificate, birth certificate, ration card, or a spouse’s death certificate.

11. Additional Documents for Specific Applicants

Employed:

• Employment contract
• NOC letter including your salary, job title, and contract duration
• Bank statements for the last three months
• Income tax return (if applicable)
• Original bank deposit slips

Self-Employed:

• Copy of business trade license
• Company bank statements for the last six months
• Company’s income tax return
• NOC from a business partner if in a partnership

Retired:

• Pension book or pension proof
• Bank statements for the last six months

Sponsored:

• Sponsorship letter
• Copy of sponsor’s national ID or residence permit
• Sponsor’s bank statement for the last six months

Minor Applicants:

• Birth certificate
• Copies of both parents’ travel documents
• Visa application form signed by both parents
• Family court authorization if only one parent has custody
• NOC letter from both parents if the child is traveling alone
