The following are the documents you have to gather when applying for a Cyprus visa from Oman:
Passport
You should have a valid passport issued not more than 10 years ago. The validity of this passport should be at least 3 months from the date you leave Cyprus. Also, ensure there are at least 2 blank pages available for visa stamping.
Application Form
When applying for a Cyprus visa, you must complete the application form with accurate details and sign it at the end.
Photographs
You must submit 2 recent passport-sized photos (40mm x 50mm) with a white background. Your face should be clearly visible, and the photos must be taken within the last 6 months.
Proof of Legal Residence
All Oman residents are required to submit proof of legal residence, which includes a valid residence visa that is valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure.
Flight Tickets / Itinerary
You must provide documents showing your travel dates to Cyprus, such as a flight reservation or itinerary. It is not mandatory to purchase the ticket in advance.
Proof of Sufficient Funds
Provide evidence that you have enough funds to cover all expenses during your stay in Cyprus. This can include your personal bank statements for the last 6 months.
Proof of Accommodation
You are required to submit proof of where you will be staying while in Cyprus, such as a hotel booking or an invitation letter from a host.
Travel Health Insurance
You should submit a valid travel insurance policy that covers medical emergencies or repatriation. The coverage must be valid for the entire duration of your stay in Cyprus and should have a minimum cover of €30,000.
Cover Letter
You may be requested to submit a cover letter detailing the reason for your visit to Cyprus, places you plan to visit, and other relevant travel information.
